Let it snow...
Dec. 14th, 2007 08:42 pmWell it's snowing we've got about 6 inches and are expecting at least another 1-3 inches to accumulate tonight. On the bright side my boss says if I can't get out tomorrow to call dispatch and they will send somebody to get me in a patrol car.
They canceled the City Christmas party and we had to leave several hours early. They had a chocolate fountain but it was kind of dull. Oh well got paid for not working which works for me.
I'm trying to remember which 2 guys at work are the gay couple. I know who the non-flamboyantly gay one is but I don't remember who the other one is... but I know where is office. It's easy to pick out from the fact that it's the best decorated. Seriously. Barbara pointed it out to me in that "So you don't stick your foot in your mouth" way. Because she didn't know for a long time until somebody pointed it out to her and she went "OH?! I guess that makes sense..." Not that she cares. But I'm trying to remember who's who and what not still so I'm trying to remember. And then there are the tightly wound almost poodle-esque two hispanic girls who were driving poor JC nuts on the way to the Christmas party. "It was so scary I thought I was going to cry at any moment!" *me refraining from snickering* JC is the one I think is the other gay guy but I'm not positive. It's a shame they're not younger and cuter than I would so already know. hehe Everyone at work is nice though. Oh and I got a $25 walmart gift card in my paystub. Yea.
Hmmm what else? I commissioned a drawing of one of my original characters Ghoste Myste which I will eventually get around to writing her story so it'll come in handy. I was telling the artist about her and she was super enthused about working on her. She is a neat character with a good background and story so it doesn't surprise me. Oh and I might get the character's boyfriend commissioned too. But we'll see.
